What we're building

Compliance shouldn't be a legal maze for a merchant running a shop. It should be one line, handled.

Every market keeps adding rules about what a storefront must show — the prior 30-day price behind a discount, who made a product and who's responsible for it, what a garment is made of, whether a “was” price is real. Each rule is small. Together they're a maze.

We build one focused app per regulation — each one reads the data you already have, works out what the rule needs, and renders the right line on the product page in the shopper's language. Nothing invented, nothing over-claimed. When the data can't back a claim, the app stays quiet — and that honesty is your defence, not a gap.

How we build

A shared way of working runs through every app — it's why they read as one suite, and why a compliance reviewer can trust them.

Grounded in the law

Encoded from the statute, not a guess

Each country preset is written from the national transposition law and enforcement guidance — Germany's PAngV §11, Poland's price-information act, Japan's eight-week rule. No generic fallback.

Honest by design

Never an invented price or claim

If recorded history or entered data can't substantiate a line, the app shows nothing rather than a plausible-looking guess. The record you can export is the point.

Minimal data

Products only — no orders, no customers

The apps read prices and the details you enter. They never request order or customer data, so there's nothing sensitive to leak and a smaller surface to trust.

One job each

A focused app per regulation

Rather than one bloated “compliance suite”, each rule gets its own small, legible app you can install only if you need it — and understand in one sitting.

What's next

The suite is built to widen. As a rule starts to bite in a market merchants actually sell into, it becomes a candidate for its own focused app — same engine, same honesty.

Who's behind it

PriceProof is a small, independent studio — lean on purpose. That's a feature: the person who writes the code is the person who answers your email, so support is fast and specific, and the roadmap follows what merchants actually run into rather than a sales quota.

We're not a law firm and none of the apps give legal advice or act as your Responsible Person. They're display and record-keeping tools — you stay the trader, in control of what your store shows. Our job is to make showing it correctly effortless.
